Bremer Lloyd (Shanghai) International Logistics Co., Ltd. was founded on April 24, 2020 as part of Bremer Lloyd’s global network.
Our story began with the Nordex project for Bremer Lloyd Germany – and has since evolved into a strong logistics hub connecting China with the world.
With deep industry knowledge and a trusted partner network, we handle over 1,000 OOG containers per year. Our core expertise lies in wind power logistics – from container shipments to breakbulk and RoRo solutions.
We also manage trucking, heavy-lift operations, warehousing, and develop tailor-made logistics concepts for complex cargo.

This project focused on the final delivery and positioning of battery storage systems in Germany. After arrival in Europe, the units were moved by barge, transported by low-bed trucks under special permit and placed directly onto prepared concrete foundations. The operation required close coordination between transport planning, technical handling and on-site execution.

For this steel industry project, we coordinated the transport of a 300-ton converter and a 155-ton vessel from Avilés, Spain to Detroit, USA. The cargo required a tailor-made logistics concept, combining engineering, transport planning and international coordination. Due to the weight and dimensions of the units, the project demanded careful preparation, technical inspection, method statement development and sea fastening execution. Our scope included pre-carriage, part-charter shipping and full operational coordination from origin to destination. With precise planning and strong communication between all involved parties, we ensured the successful delivery of this heavy industrial cargo to the United States.

For this aerospace project, we managed the transport of a 161-ton autoclave from Gijón, Spain to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The project was a major milestone for our Spanish office and required detailed engineering, precise transport planning and strong coordination across all operational stages. The cargo was moved using heavy-lift cranes, SPMT equipment, as well as jacking and sliding tools to ensure safe and accurate handling. Our scope included technical inspection, method statement preparation, sea fastening, pre-carriage, export customs clearance, part-charter shipping, port operations, on-carriage and final setting onto foundations. With hands-on project management and close operational control, we ensured a smooth execution from origin to final positioning at site.
