From the heart of Europe, a meticulously engineered transport journey unfolded. Departing from Mělník in the Czech Republic, this river freight operation set sail along the waterway to Hamburg for transhipping seamlessly onto a coaster vessel for the next leg up to Avilés in Spain. Due to height restrictions, an auxiliary temporary bypass was built for ensuring no delays with the free pass beneath a viaduct. Finally and once at the destination, a heavy-duty crane delivered the cargo to its exact destination.
